Doreen has been a member of Bunyan Meeting for over 50 years, and a Deacon and Trustee for over 30 years.
Doreen was instrumental in creating the new museum and library in the purpose built accommodation, and achieving the status as an Accredited Museum. As a member of the Museum Committee she continued her involvement, which included overseeing the day to day running of the museum until our Museum Director was appointed.
She was a founder member of the Friends of the John Bunyan Museum and Library and a member of the committee for 21 years, and is now their Honorary President. Doreen is also a Bedford Town Guide.
