Anne-Marie Abbate

Anne-Marie is Artist in Residence and Co-ordinator at The Basement at Bunyan, working from two studios in her hometown of Bedford. She is curator for two galleries – The Basement at Bunyan and Bluebell Gallery at Bedford Hospital.

Anne-Marie is a member of the International Feltmakers Association, an Arts Award Adviser and certified Cultural Provider for Bedford Creative Arts. As a Creative Practioner Anne-Marie delivers inspiring and inclusive art workshops to schools, adults and community groups across the region and beyond, with work in private collections around the world.

Recent projects include Artist Residences at Camestone School, Bedfordshire and St Albans Cathedral, Hertfordshire. She has exhibited at The Basement at Bunyan, Bedford (2021), The Bluebell Gallery (2021) and The Old Biscuit Factory, London (2019).
